Rules and Regulations
1. You may only choose ONE of the categories to enter the race. You will have to choose between 42.2km, 21.1km, 10km or Fun event. Each category is in a block. You only choose one block and complete ALL the
information in that block.
2. If you enter a specific distance e.g. 10km you have to fill in ALLTHE DETAILS e.g.:
2.1 Senior or Junior?
2.2 Male or female?
2.3 Are you a paraplegic, quadriplegic or CP?
2.4 Basketball chair or other wheelchair?
3. Please mark you T-shirt size.
TEACHERS AND MANAGERS:
We do not give you a race T-shirt unless you are a participant or unless you push somebody in the fun event. That
means if some of your children/adults enter the fun event, and you want a T-shirt, you have to push him/her.
Do not fax the entry forms to any other fax number than the one AT THE TOP of the entry form in the book.
Please ensure that ALL the detail of the people that you enter is completed BEFORE you fax/send the forms. You
will be held responsible for missing information and often the results are disputed due to WRONG information on
the entry forms. If you are unsure of the person's disability or his/her type of wheelchair, please do not hesitate to
contact the organisers.
If you need to borrow ORDINARY wheelchairs, you need to book at least ONE MONTH before the event. The
contact person’s name and number is on the entry form. There will be NO extra wheelchairs to borrow on the day
of the race. We only have 30 ORDINARY wheelchairs available. We do not have extra racing wheelchairs or Hand
cycles for the race.
Athletes must collect borrowed wheelchairs at the Round Table Club House on the venue by NO LATER THAN
07:30 on the morning of the race. Please be on time as we cannot hand out chairs after 07:45. The clubhouse gets
locked and you will not have your chair to participate in. Bring you wheelchair back to the clubhouse after the
event. We will send you a bill for the wheelchair if you take it illegally.
Athletes must be physical disabled but do not have to be full time wheelchairs user to enter the race. NO ATHLETE
will be allowed to walk the fun event, a wheelchair MUST be used in the race. NO MANAGER will be allowed to
walk in the fun event you have to push a person!
REGISTRATION closes at 21:00 on 15 February 2013. Late entries of 10km, 21.1km, 42.2km will be considered disqualified.
Please keep the closing date of entries in mind. Late entries will ONLY be accepted until 12 February 2011. After
that you can enter but will not receive a T-shirt, goody bag or race number. The OCC is a professional race and is
organized by a dedicated team of volunteers. If you take your time and make your own rules, we find it very hard
to treat you as proper athletes and all the hard work of a year is then in vain.
